DESCRIPTION:Early Access for Lan Su Members: Friday\, July 24 | 9-10 AM \n\n\n\nLan Su Chinese Garden may be the only public place in the Pacific Northwest to see lotus\, but now you can grow your own at home! Our horticulturists are excited to offer five varieties of lotus for sale\, alongside expert advice on cultivation. \n\n\n\nThere will only be about 30 plants available\, so don’t miss your chance to take one home! \n\n\n\nFeatured Lotus Varieties\n\n\n\nBelow are the varieties of lotus plants curated by our horticulture team that you can expect to find at the sale: \n\n\n\n\nEast Lake Pink (single-petaled\, deep pink): Beyond their gorgeous pink hue\, this variety also produces large seed pods suitable for floral arrangements.\n\n\n\nHigh Cotton (multi-petaled\, white): These elegant lotus flowers gently unfold with layers of pure white petals. \n\n\n\nYimeng Red (single-petaled\, red): This variety offers tall blooms at about 48 inches or more\, with bright red petals.\n\n\n\nPerry’s Giant Sunburst (single-petaled\, light yellow): These huge flowers—like bigger than your face big—will steal the show as they offer a steady supply of blooms. \n\n\n\nBeautiful Dancer (single-petaled\, pink and yellow): This “bowl lotus” is a miniature variety\, growing just 6-12 inches tall! Blooms starts as a vivid pink\, changing into light yellow with pink edges as it matures.\n\n\n\n\nBeautiful Dancer is the only variety here that grows best in a pot.
