SUMMARY:Cultural Performance - Portland Chinese Dance Troupe
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free performance by Portland Chinese Dance Troupe (PCDT) as they share the beauty of Chinese culture through artistic movement. \n\n\n\n\n\nAdmission Rates | Parking & Directions | More FAQs \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeet Portland Chinese Dance Troupe\n\n\n\nThe Portland Chinese Dance Troupe was founded in 2003 as a recreational dance group. All ladies in the group grew up in China; their childhood memories of beautiful Chinese folk dance and music follow them wherever they go. Most members in the troupe are working moms with busy daily schedules\, but in the past thirteen years\, led by the Artistic Director Julie Ding\, they gather at the dance studio every Friday\, practicing\, exercising\, laughing\, sharing\, getting relaxed after a week of hectic life\, and most importantly\, fulfilling their dreams! PCDT does not only make great efforts on each piece of their dance—they also make efforts on encouraging and getting the younger generation involved\, nurturing them with Chinese culture through dancing. \n\n\n\nPortland Chinese Dance Troupe has performed at many local cultural venues. Every year\, it joins the local Chinese communities to celebrate Chinese New Year and other major festivals. Although eighteen years have passed\, PDCT is getting younger and more lively day by day with their deep love to dance and their devotion to build the bridge across generations\, between the old and the young\, and across cultures between the east and the west! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLunar New Year Admission Rates\n\n\n\n\nLan Su Members & Guests: FREE\n\n\n\nAdult: $17.95\n\n\n\nSenior (62+) or Student (18+ with ID): $15.95\n\n\n\nYouth (6-18 yr): $13.95\n\n\n\nChild (5 yr & under): FREE\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNote: A $0.95 service fee is reflected in each paid admission. \n\n\n\nDiscounted Admission Offers\n\n\n\nEBT/WIC Cardholders\n\n\n\nDiscounted admission of $5.00 per person is available for up to four individuals per EBT/WIC card.
