Immerse yourself in the beautiful work of 18 local artists and featured designer\, Toni Tibbits. Each will give their own unique take on this year’s theme\, Golden Blooms Upon Autumn Waters\, to honor the noble chrysanthemum. Be sure to vote for your favorite! \n\n\n\nLan Su’s own horticulture team will create additional chrysanthemum floral installations inspired by autumn\, water\, and classical Chinese garden aesthetics. Don’t miss this year’s cascading waterfall mums and an incredible 81 varieties of chrysanthemums on display throughout the garden! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nParticipating Designers\n\n\n\n\n\nFeatured Designer: Toni Tibbits\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nToni is a floral designer\, botanical sculptural artist\, educator\, international floral installation creator\, and a Laureate member of the prestigious American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD). \n\n\n\nShe formed a floral and event design company in the Pacific Northwest serving high-profile private individuals and corporations\, resulting in world-class events\, weddings\, and celebrations. Lan Su has a wheelchair accessible route that travels throughout the garden. Almost every area of the garden can be accessed by those using mobility aids\, and benches are available throughout the garden. Restrooms are also fully accessible. \n\n\n\nA Universal Access Map is available at the Ticket Booth and Host Stand—you may borrow a copy to help navigate the garden.   \n\n\n\nNote: The second floor of Yun Shui Teahouse is not wheelchair-friendly at this time as stairs are required for access. The first floor is still ADA accessible. \n\n\n\nWheelchairs\n\n\n\nThe garden does not provide wheelchairs\, but you are welcome to bring your own. Immerse yourself in the illuminated works of 18 talented local floral artists and featured designer Toni Tibbits as they interpret this year’s theme\, Golden Blooms Upon Autumn Waters. \n\n\n\nPlus\, enjoy gentle music by Lulu Guzheng Studio\, dance performances by YZ Dance Academy\, floral jewelry-making\, and all-ages fun as you wander among glowing lanterns and vote for your favorite designs of the showcase. \n\n\n\nVolunteers from the PNW Florist Association help visitors make wearable floral jewelry. Immerse yourself in the illuminated works of 18 talented local floral artists and featured designer Toni Tibbits as they interpret this year’s theme\, Golden Blooms Upon Autumn Waters. \n\n\n\nPlus\, enjoy gentle music by Lulu Guzheng Studio\, dance performances by YZ Dance Academy\, floral jewelry-making\, and all-ages fun as you wander among glowing lanterns and vote for your favorite designs of the showcase. \n\n\n\nVolunteers from the PNW Florist Association help visitors make wearable floral jewelry. Lan Su is also easily accessible by bus and MAX with a short 1-2 block walk. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAccessibility at Lan Su\n\n\n\nLan Su Chinese Garden is an ADA accessible and KultureCity-certified Sensory Inclusive location. Lan Su has a wheelchair accessible route that travels throughout the garden. Almost every area of the garden can be accessed by those using mobility aids\, and benches are available throughout the garden. Locally grown right near Portland and dried for long-term enjoyment\, you’ll get to design your own mini chrysanthemum floral art to take home or share with a loved one. \n\n\n\nVolunteers will be on hand to assist with attaching flowers and bells to your wind chime\, making this a perfect all-ages activity to create your own festival keepsake. \n\n\n\nNote: The rattan star bases come in various neutral colors and sizes measuring 2-5 inches. Additional metered parking and garages are available on surrounding streets. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAccessibility at Lan Su\n\n\n\nLan Su Chinese Garden is an ADA accessible and KultureCity-certified Sensory Inclusive location. Lan Su has a wheelchair accessible route that travels throughout the garden. Almost every area of the garden can be accessed by those using mobility aids\, and benches are available throughout the garden. Restrooms are also fully accessible. \n\n\n\nA Universal Access Map is available at the Ticket Booth and Host Stand—you may borrow a copy to help navigate the garden.   \n\n\n\nNote: The second floor of Yun Shui Teahouse is not wheelchair-friendly at this time as stairs are required for access. The first floor is still ADA accessible. \n\n\n\nWheelchairs\n\n\n\nThe garden does not provide wheelchairs\, but you are welcome to bring your own.
