SUMMARY:Oregon Rises Above Hate Presents: Free Admission Day
DESCRIPTION:In honor of Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month\, members of the community are invited to the sixth annual Oregon Rises Above Hate (ORAH) event on May 2\, 2026\, Lan Su Chinese Garden.  \n\n\n\nFrom noon to 6:00 PM at Lan Su\, there will be musical and dance performances from local cultural groups:  \n\n\n\n\n12:00 PM: Portland Lee’s Association Dragon & Lion Dance Team\n\n\n\n1:00 PM: Cambodian Dance Troupe of Oregon\n\n\n\n2:00 PM: Paradise of Samoa \n\n\n\n3:00 PM: Portland Chinese Dance Troupe\n\n\n\n4:00 PM: Chinese Friendship Association of Portland (CFAP) Fitness Dance Team \n\n\n\n5:00 PM: Takohachi\n\n\n\n\nLocal nonprofit resources will also be tabling throughout the garden. \n\n\n\nOther cultural heritage institutions in Old Town will be open for Pay As You Will admission to encourage the exploration of AANHPI culture and history\, including the Japanese American Museum of Oregon\, Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education\, and Portland Chinatown Museum. \n\n\n\nCome out and celebrate Oregon’s AANHPI communities! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nParking & Directions\n\n\n\nFree Lan Su Parking\n\n\n\nThere is free first come\, first served parking in our sister lot next to the garden at 424 NW Third Avenue.
