DESCRIPTION:Take a front row seat to experiencing Chinese tea culture with our intimate Summer Tea Tasting series!  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMondays & Saturdays\, June 30 – Sept. 29 | 11 AM\, 1 PM\, & 3 PM \n\n\n\nTaste your way through three (3) seasonal teas\, led by Tea Master in Residence Eric Arthur. Explore different flavor profiles and preparation methods using traditional gaiwans and teaware. You’ll learn about the history\, cultivation\, and traditions that have evolved over centuries from ancient China—and how other cultures adapted these practices for their own people.  \n\n\n\nAfter your immersive 1-hour tasting in the vibrant Scholar’s Courtyard\, you’ll receive a porcelain teacup to continue your journey at home. All sampled teas will also be available for purchase in our Yun Shui Teahouse.  \n\n\n\n\nBook a Tasting\n\n\n\n\nNo tastings on Saturday\, September 13\, due to Lan Su’s 25th anniversary celebration.  \n\n\n\nNo tastings on Saturday\, September 27\, due to Mid-Autumn Festival.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeet Tea Master in Residence Eric Arthur\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn the last 15 years\, Eric Arthur has journeyed from hating tea\, being surprised by it\, to obsessing over it. While hosting tea tastings\, he blends the knowledge\, lore\, grace\, and fun of tea to perfection. His skill in pouring tea is heavily influenced by being a practitioner of Tai Chi for 20+ years\, moving and partnering with the leaf and its energy. Come spend an hour being surprised\, or find a new obsession with tea and tea service!
