Free Admission for active military with ID

In honor of Portland Rose Festival Fleet Week, Lan Su Chinese Garden welcomes active military and service members to enjoy free admission from June 3–7, 2026 with a valid military ID. Immediate family members and veterans may receive $2 off regular admission.

Step away from the bustle of the waterfront and find a moment of calm among lush gardens, winding paths, and serene water features—an opportunity to experience a different kind of harbor, rooted in reflection and peace of mind.

Offer available in person only. Free admission applies to active military ID holders; discount for family members applied at purchase.

Hours

Lan Su Chinese Garden and Yun Shui Teahouse are open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM during spring and summer. The last entry is at 6:00 PM.


Admission

Lan Su offers $2 off regular admission every day for active-duty military, veterans, and their immediate family with valid ID. Offer must be redeemed in person at the Lan Su Ticket Booth.

Free admission for active-duty military applies only to the individual and is valid from June 3-7, 2026.

Free Lan Su Parking

There is free first come, first served parking in our sister lot next to the garden at 424 NW Third Avenue. Additional metered parking and garages are available on surrounding streets.

Sip & Dine at Yun Shui Teahouse

Savor freshly brewed teas prepared with traditional methods such as gaiwans. Food options include a hearty congee, snack plate, and various pastries. Vegan and gluten-free options available. Yun Shui also offers a large selection of tea, teaware, and accessories so you can take a bit of Chinese tea culture home with you.
