Indian Saree Dressing Demonstration

The beautiful saree, a traditional garment worn by Indian women, reflects India’s rich history, culture, and aesthetic heritage.
In this demonstration, a saree specialist will show how to wear a sari properly and elegantly, while also explaining the role of the saree in Indian tradition and its cultural significance.

Kalabharathi School of Dance is a premier dance institution and performance company dedicated to preserving and sharing the traditions of Bharatanatyam. Celebrating 29 years in Oregon, it is an approved center for Bharatanatyam certification through APAA, India.
With over 100 students, Kalabharathi is known for its award-winning productions, community collaborations, and performances across Oregon and Washington. The school has also presented more than 29 Arangetrams over the past 15 years, supporting students in reaching important milestones in their artistic journey.
