Threading Together Show & Tell: The Philippines
May 15 @ 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Come join us for Threading Together Show & Tell, an interactive visitor experience that brings the stories behind traditional attire to life. This program is part of our Threading Together: AANHPI Traditional Attire Exhibit.
On May 15, step into traditional Filipino style with the Filipino American Friendship Club of Oregon.
Explore the meaning, history, and cultural significance of the garments featured in our exhibition through conversation and shared storytelling. Engage with cultural representatives, ask questions, and enjoy a show and tell display of additional pieces that deepen the connection between dress and identity, heritage, and artistry.
Whether you are curious about fabrics, symbolism, or the people behind the garments, this experience invites you to look closer and connect more deeply with the living traditions they represent.
Meet Our Program Partner: Filipino American Friendship Club of Oregon
