Enjoy a peaceful afternoon surrounded by blooming lotus ponds and experience live guzheng performances by Lu Wen from the garden’s waterside pavilions and bridges. Let the elegant music and serene scenery bring you a sense of joy, calm, and coolness during the warm summer season.
Meet the Musician
Lu Wen earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Guzheng Performance in China. After graduation, she engaged in continuing education at Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, China. Lu Wen has been invited to play guzheng performances many times both in the US and China. She was awarded the title of “Best Teacher” when she was in China, and won the first prize in the 7th Chinese National Culture and Art Exhibition in 2013. In 2017, she received the second prize in the Multi-cultural Music Festival organized by New England Conservatory of Music (Boston, MA, US).

There is free first come, first served parking in our sister lot next to the garden at 424 NW Third Avenue. Additional metered parking and garages are available on surrounding streets.
