Tai Chi Chuan is a Chinese internal martial art and meditation exercise. Also called “meditation in motion,” the practice of Tai Chi focuses on relaxation, concentration, and body alignment. Yang Style Tai Chi Long Form consists of 108 slow and graceful movements that work to strengthen the body and relax the mind through the circulation of Chi (vital energy). This class is presented by Alexia Rostow who also provides Tai Chi classes through the Northeast Community Center.
